The Phantom loves animals, he protects them from being poached, hunted, never kills animals unless he has to and has a whole island dedicated to their preservation and living in peace. The island is called Eden and the animals that exist and live together are tigers and lions eating and living with sheep, deer and other grass feeders.

When he faces an animal he will do whatever he can to not kill it. For example he will kick the animal in the stomach, or shoot the ear to scare it but never kill unless it is a last resort.
