The Tirangi is the hardest jungle tribe to keep to the Phantom peace. The Phantom and chiefs always has a hard job keeping them under control which has seen several chiefs deposed. They used to be head hunters, very often they try and go back to the practice.

The Tirangi live in the foothills on cliffs of the Misty Mountains to the east of Bengalla.

The chief cannot marry. They also do not lie, to be caught into a lie means death.

In majority of stories, their head dress is a feathered boa style which includes feathers from the mountain vultures. We suggest any new stories feature this. The chief wears a throne with skulls. Skulls play a major part of their decorations and life.

They wear war paint across their face when in battle.
