Redbeard was the king of pirates in Sanloi. It took an amazing mammoth adventure with the 6th Phantom before he stopped.

Redbeard is a head and shoulders taller than everyone except maybe Big Bart one of his lieutenant's. While he is a big fighter, he can move as fast as a flea and fight elegantly with a sword but also as a brawler with fists, knife etc.

Redbeard loves a fight, drink, feed and a fight.

Redbeard is also loyal, respecting the 6th Phantom and willing to follow to his death because of him showing mercy by the 6th Phantom.
