Ingrid is the daughter of the Duke of Holstein and was influential enough to be an acquaintance of the King of Sweden. She has at least one brother who was a playboy who was cut off from his allowance. The 8th Phantom tried to save him but he ended up dying after being rescued.

Ingrid looks like the typical Lady on the outside with nice dresses, properly dressed etc but she is fierce and determined.

When the 8th was sick, she for a second thought of taking over the role to lead the Llongo tribe against slavers. She also left her home in Sweden to Bangalla to find the 8th Phantom.
