Diana is four years younger than the 21st Phantom, her husband.

Diana should be portrayed as the head strong, independent woman who is an explorer, black belt, nurse and UN representative. In other stories Diana has been portrayed as nothing more than a kidnapping story plot tool. Diana should not be portrayed as that. She can and has filled in as the Phantom on occasion.

Diana has curly black hair which usually sits around shoulder length.

Diana's family is her mother (Lily Palmer), her uncle (David Palmer) and her father who has little known about him.

She is the rock to the Phantom. As kids, she talked him to go back to her family after running away. She also stood up for him as a 18-20 year old when friends asked difficult questions about his future. That has continued as adults.
